UNIPORT Hostel 2024 (Application and Fee)
If you have any plans of staying within the walls of the University of Port Harcourt, fear not. Uniport is an organized university, and to that effect, it also organized its halls of residence in a way that every sector has its own special occupants based.
Categories of UNIPORT hostel accommodation
Uniport Hostel Accommodation is based on Four Categories, namely:
- General Hostels
- Faculty and Departmental Hostels
- SUG Hostels
- Sport Hostels
General Hostels
These are hostels that any student can stay in, both male and female, with no form of special requirements to stay in them. They are subdivided into male and female hostels.
Male Hostel
- Amino Kano block A Choba Campus
- Amino Kano block B Choba Campus
- Nelson Mandela Block A Abuja Campus
- Nelson Mandela Block B Abuja Campus
- Nelson Mandela Block C Abuja Campus
- Nelson Mandela Block D Abuja Campus
Female Hostels
- Goodluck Jonathan hostel Abuja Campus
- Claude Ake hostel Abuja Campus
- Dan Etete hostel Abuja Campus
- NDDC Abuja hostel
- King Jaja block A Delta Campus
- King Jaja block B Delta Campus
- King Jaja block C Delta Campus
- King Jaja block D Delta Campus
Faculty/Departmental Hostels
These hostels are specially meant for students in the specified departments.
- Pharmacy Hostel Abuja Campus
- Clinical Hostel (medical) Abuja Campus
SUG Hostels
These hostels are specially meant for the elected Students of the university’s Student Union Government.
Sport Hostels
These hostels are meant for members of Uniport’s sports teams.
How to apply for Uniport hostel accommodation
- Visit the hostel accommodation portal on https://ecampus.uniport.edu.ng/ and log in with your username and password.
- Follow the required steps to make payment.
- Take your payment slip to the student affairs division for documentation and hostel allocation.
After indication of interest in staying in the university hostel, students are to visit the students’ affairs department with the following items:
- School fees receipt
- Bio-data form
- Application letter for bed space.
NOTE: The Uniport hostel accommodation fee falls between N20,000 and N40,000.
