UNILAG Admission requirements 2024

You are thinking of filing for the Great University of Lagos in your JAMB? There is something you have to remember. for short it is “UNILAG admission requirements”. It is self-explanatory, right?

To become a pilot, there are requirements that must be satisfied before one can be successfully referred to as a pilot. Likewise in universities like UNILAG, there are requirements that must be fulfilled before an aspirant can be considered for admission into the school as an Akokite.

List of UNILAG Admission requirements

As a secondary school certificate holder, listed below are the requirements that must be fulfilled before you, my dear JAMBite will stand a chance to be “Admitted”.

1. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 credits in the Ordinary Level Credits of the Senior Secondary Certificate Examinations (SSCE/GCE), in not more than one (1) sitting.
2. You must select the appropriate JAMB subject combination for your chosen course.
3. To get admitted to the University of Lagos, aspirants must score at least 200 in the JAMB UTME exam.
4. UNILAG should be your first choice university.
5. To be eligible for admission, you must participate in the UNILAG POST UTME/SCREENING for that particular year (if any, is available for the year)
6. Candidates must be at least 16 years old.

For candidates seeking admission to the University of Lagos via Direct Entry, the requirements below are for you:

1. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 credits in the Ordinary Level Credits of the Senior Secondary Certificate Examinations (SSCE/GCE), in not more than one (1) sitting.
2. Candidates must have passed two subjects relating to their field of study at ‘A’ level/IJMB.
3. Candidates must have passed in related topics at JUPEB/A Level.
4. For the degree holders, (First Class/Second Class Upper) in a related discipline is required.
5. Candidates for direct entry must acquire the UNILAG Direct Entry form from the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and the UNILAG Portal.
6. Candidates must have passed the National Certificate of Education (NCE), National Diploma (ND), and other Advanced Level Certificates with a minimum of merit.
