After JAMB registration, candidates are able to access their JAMB profile by using a their JAMB username and password. What happens when you have lost your JAMB username and password details or you do not have it at all.

How to know your JAMB username and password?
Your JAMB username is the e -mail address that you used during registration. The way to know your username is to check the slip printed for you after your registration.
The JAMB Slip is a document that contains the examination center, the date, time and selection of institutions, age, e -mail address, state of origin and other important details.
As for your JAMB password, the JAMB CBT center representative who handled your registration is expected to tell you what your password is. They would often use your cell phone number or name as password. They could also use a generic password like “JAMB 2024” as the passwords for all candidates they register. - Next stage you have to open your e -mail address. Check your inbox for the email sent by JAMB. If you do not find the email in your primary inbox, check your email Spam folder because the mail might be in there.

If you, for any reason can not access the internet, there is a way to retrieve your JAMB password through SMS. Here are the steps you can follow to restore your JAMB password via SMS:
- You will have to use the phone number you used to register for JAMB.
- Type “Password email” and send to 55019 or 66019.
- JAMB will respond with a message that contains your new password.
- Go to JAMB E-Facility or JAMB CAPS, try the new password to confirm that it works.
I can’t login into my JAMB profile: What is the reason?
Here are some of the reasons why you might be unable to login into your JAMB profile:
1. Using an unregistered e -mail: The email address you type might be incorrect as it could not be the one you used to register for JAMB. Also, the problem could be due to wrong spellings.
2. False or incorrect password: you might have entered the wrong password unknowingly, that is why you need to be calm while typing it, also it could be a case sensitive issue. Maybe you registered using small letters, and you want to login with capital letters. So make sure you are using the right letter case.
3. Network problems: The network could be another reason why you might be having difficulties login into your JAMB profile.
