OOU JAMB cutoff mark 2024

Every higher institution in Nigeria has a fixed JAMb cutoff mark to filter out excess candidates who are seeking a place in their establishment. So, OOU JAMB cutoff mark has been determined by the school to filter out excess aspirants.

Official OOU JAMB cutoff mark

Olabisi Onabanjo University has set 160 as their official JAMB cutoff mark for 2024. Stop looking like you don’t understand. I mean that the official OOU JAMB cutoff mark is 160.

This means that any Nigerian student seeking admission into OOU must meet this score in the JAMB examination, or they may be forced to change to an institution that can take candidates with JAMB scores lower than 160.

It should be noted  that OOU operates an aggregate score system, which can be calculated thus:

  • Divide your JAMB score by 8
  • Divide your post-UTME score by 2
  • After which you add both of them together.

Example: 290/8 = 36.25

77/2 = 38.5

i.e 36.25 + 38.5 = 74.75

How simple is that?

Well, the different faculties and departments in OOU set their cut-off marks by this aggregate score.
