OAU Postgraduate 2024- Application Requirements, Admission list, etc
Can we talk about OAU postgraduate school requirements and processes? It is common knowledge that academics in several Nigerian universities doesn’t stop at the undergraduate level, as there are postgraduate education programs for graduates who wish to further their studies, especially within the walls of Obafemi Awolowo University.
There are certain criteria that must be satisfied before an OAU postgraduate aspirant can be considered to be admitted into OAU’s 2500-man-strong postgraduate school.
Requirements for OAU Postgraduate courses
A general requirement for postgraduate course in OAU is a Bachelor’s degree in Arts, Letters, Philosophy or Science or an acceptable equivalent from an approved University. An academic standing of a minimum of second class lower division or a grade point average of B (3.0 on a 4.0 scale) is required for admission to Masters degrees: a second class upper division for MPhil: and an MPhil or Master’s degree with research thesis in appropriate field and at least 60% (B+) weighted average in the Masters coursework for admission to Doctorate degree (culled from University website).
