How much is JAMB registration fee for 2024?

Every year, millions of Nigerians pay the JAMB registration fee to be able to sit for the UTME and compete for places in the country’s higher institutions.

This fact comes without doubt, but before any higher institution aspirant can successfully register for JAMB, he will have to pay JAMB registration fee to get started.

The aspirants in foreign countries are required to pay a fee of $20 or its equivalent in naira or the country of resident’s currency.

It should be noted that the Compulsory reading text that is being charged for N500 is not your regular classroom textbook. It’s a novel to be read by aspirants; the novel has been examined and recommended by JAMB, hence the Use of English (JAMB’s compulsory subject) will contain several questions from it.

• The first step to be taken by any JAMB aspirant is to purchase a JAMB e-pin.

• Aspirants should visit accredited JAMB centres in Nigeria to complete their registration.

• Input your details.

• Biometric capturing of ten fingers.

• Bio-data is collated. It should be noted that bio-data include the date of birth, state of origin, nationality, gender, email address, etc.

• Choose your choice institution and preferred course of study for the different institutions.

• The details will be printed out and given to you.

• Congratulations, you just officially registered for JAMB.

JAMB registration fee deadline

Every year, as JAMB registrations are being initiated, the deadline date is announced too. Any aspirant who fails to register for JAMB before the end of this deadline, it means that he will have to wait till the next year to be able to write.

Deadlines may be extended, but it is not advisable for anyone to wait till the deadline; remember as they say: ‘delay is dangerous’.

For 2024, JAMB registration starts on the 15th of January 2024 and ends on the 26th of February 2024. JAMB exams will be held from 25th April to 2nd May, 2024. As a result, you must begin registering for the Next UTME on January 14, 2024.

JAMB mock Examination

Every registered JAMB candidate or aspirant has the choice of choosing to sit for JAMB mock exams, as a way of preparing for JAMB exams.

The arrangements of this mock examination are almost the same as the main JAMB exam, but the major difference is the unavailability of an authoritative result that can be as influential as the JAMB result that is issued at the end of a proper JAMB screening.

Any candidate that wishes to write a mock examination has a limited window to register for mock, so all aspirants are encouraged to register on time if they are interested in participating in the JAMB mock exam.
